Under the new COVID-19 regulations, as announced by the President of South Africa, we have moved down to Level 3 of restrictions from the 1st of June 2020.
We have resumed our services at Living Word Centurion on the 7th of June 2020, with a limit of 50 people and staff on the premises during each service.
To prevent any violation of the restrictions, we have implemented pre-registration of service attendees, to enable us to assess each visitor’s risk factors. In addition, we have implemented compulsory temperature measuring of each individual on entrance to the church premises, the obligatory wearing of a mask that covers both your mouth and nose at all times, hand sanitation at marked stations, social distancing in front of the chapel, as well as inside, with chairs set out with a 1m circumference from another chair, together with a one-way flow of people in and out of the chapel.
No refreshments will be available during the service: not water, coffee, or tea, as per regulation, and neither will holy communion be served during any service, as precautionary measures to protect everyone from being infected by the virus.
The regulations in terms of the symptoms of COVID-19 must be strictly adhered to, and so we kindly request that, if you or any of your family members are experiencing the following symptoms (as specified by the government and World Health Organisation), you refrain from attending a meeting at church:
Body pain, Loss of taste and smell, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Fatigue, Weakness and/or Exhaustion
Kindly note that all services will still be broadcast on our Living Word Centurion Facebook page, for the congregation members who are physically unable to attend a service.
